Chinatown First Friday October

First Friday REVIVAL!! Celebrating 15 years of First Fridays in Chinatown!!

The neighborhood is pooling it’s wealth of offerings together and inviting YOU to join in on the collective revival of a legendary tradition in a historical neighborhood. Come make history with us!!

Art spaces, event venues, cuisine places, libation locations, street spots, boutique stops, barber shops, studios, rooftops, lofts, lanais and coworking plots. Cultivated, curated & cared for by local place-makers, entrepreneurs & artists mapped within 6 square blocks of Honolulu’s Historical Arts, Culture and Civic Center, the oldest Chinatown in the U.S.

Every month we will be honoring a significant theme, topic or collective issue we can gather around as an island community.

For the month of October, we are honored to have Honolulu Pride, A Project of the Hawaii LGBT Legacy Foundation with their first ever Chinatown Art Exhibition…representing a neighborhood that is inclusive in all forms of love and aloha! Check out the opening night ALSO HERE Exhibition curated by our own Chinatown artist Lala Openi at The ARTS at Marks Garage and then head out to celebrate all that the hood has to offer!!
